AHA'S AND ACTION:
Here are 2 thoughts, 2 inspirations, and 1 question for you to reflect on this week…
2 THOUGHTS FROM ME
1. For a long time, I assumed my brain was running the show. My thoughts, worries, and mental chatter felt like the ultimate authority. But over time, I’ve come to understand something much quieter—and much more powerful—beneath all of that noise. A deeper wisdom that doesn’t shout, but gently guides when I give it space.
2. Here’s how I think of it now: the brain is like hardware. It stores memories, reacts quickly, and runs on patterns. Mind, on the other hand, is something entirely different. It’s like the software—an invisible, intelligent system that processes what’s stored, but also goes beyond it. It’s the source of fresh ideas, insight, creativity, and clarity. That intelligence doesn’t originate in the brain. It moves through it. And when I remember that, I stop chasing answers and start tuning in.
2 INSPIRATIONS FROM OTHER PEOPLE
1. “The brain is like a computer. But the mind is the software—and sometimes, the magic.” Adapted from Deepak Chopra.
2. "Mind is the source of all intelligence.” We’re not separate from it—we are it. We just forget.” by Sydney Banks.
1 QUESTION FOR YOU
1. When you drop into stillness, what begins to rise that your brain could never figure out?
