AHA'S AND ACTION:
Here are 2 thoughts, 2 inspirations, and 1 question for you to reflect on this week…
2 THOUGHTS FROM ME
1. Have you ever slipped into a peaceful, easy feeling for no obvious reason? You’re doing something simple—driving, folding laundry, walking—and suddenly everything feels okay. Effortless. We often assume that feeling is coming from what we’re doing or what’s around us. But I’ve come to see it differently.
That good feeling doesn’t come from the outside. It’s not the task, the person, or the setting. It’s that—for a moment—our mind quieted down. And when our mind settles, peace rises. It’s always there, waiting underneath the noise.
2. There are times I do the exact same thing, and it doesn’t feel peaceful at all. Why? Because my state of mind is different. One day I’m present and open. Another day, I’m stressed and in my head. Same action, totally different experience. That tells me something important: my state of mind is creating my experience—not the circumstances.
And thank goodness for that. Because even on the messy, crazy days, I can trust that peace is still in me. Always available. I don’t have to chase it—I just have to stop running from it.
2 INSPIRATIONS FROM OTHER PEOPLE
1. “Peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.” by Unknown.
2. Sydney Banks often said, “Wisdom is always there. All you have to do is quiet your mind and listen for it.” That deep knowing, that inner guidance—it never leaves us. We just forget to listen.
1 QUESTION FOR YOU
1. When was the last time you felt truly at peace—and what was different in that moment?
