AHA'S AND ACTION:
Here are 2 thoughts, 2 inspirations, and 1 question for you to reflect on this week…
2 THOUGHTS FROM ME
1. Letting go sounds so simple. But when I try to let go of something—a grudge, a fear, a need to be right—I quickly notice my ego getting loud. It wants to protect me, to prove something, to stay in control. And I get it. The ego’s job is to keep me safe… but sometimes it confuses safety with stubbornness. Often it gets in my way.
2. What I’ve come to see is that letting go isn’t about giving up or giving in. It’s about loosening the grip. It’s about trusting that I don’t need to hold everything so tightly. When I stop fighting, defending, or proving, I feel lighter—and often, a whole lot more connected to the people I love.
2 INSPIRATIONS FROM OTHER PEOPLE
1. “You only lose what you cling to." by Buddha.
2. In A New Earth, Eckhart Tolle writes: “The ego wants to be right. It does not want peace. You can have peace, or you can be right—but not both.” The challenge isn’t the situation—it’s the ego’s need to control the narrative.
1 QUESTION FOR YOU
1. What’s one relationship in your life that you quietly wish felt easier, lighter, or more connected—and what’s one small shift you could make today?
