AHA'S AND ACTION:
Here are 2 thoughts, 2 inspirations, and 1 question for you to reflect on this week…
2 THOUGHTS FROM ME
1. I used to think motivation was something I had to manufacture. I’d try the playlist, the perfect morning routine, the pep talks—anything to get going. But what I’ve seen is this: real momentum doesn’t come from forcing. It comes from clarity. When my mind is quiet and I’m connected to what matters, action feels natural. Effortless. Enjoyable. Exciting.
2. I used to feel really uncomfortable when I didn’t know the answer. Now, I’m much more at ease with not knowing. The awkward silence, or simply saying “I don’t know,” feels natural because I’ve seen how powerful that shift has been in my life. I’ve learned that when I don’t have an answer to a question or a problem, I can relax and trust that wisdom will show up in its own time. I’m not just okay with not knowing—I’m actually excited to see what comes up.
2 INSPIRATIONS FROM OTHER PEOPLE
1. “You don’t need to push the river. It flows by itself." by Barry Stevens, Gestalt therapist and author.
2. According to research from Stanford psychologist B.J. Fogg, small, natural actions taken in moments of clarity create more lasting momentum than high-pressure motivation. Clarity and simplicity beat force and willpower every time.
1 QUESTION FOR YOU
1. Where are you trying to push yourself right now—and what might shift if you stepped back, paused, and gave yourself the space to hear the quiet nudge from within?
