AHA'S AND ACTION:
Here are 2 thoughts, 2 inspirations, and 1 question for you to reflect on this week…
2 THOUGHTS FROM ME
1. I use my past as an inspiration to myself to see how far I have come in different areas of my life and to learn from my failures. In the present moment, I take action to move myself farther along from where I was yesterday.
2. When I compare myself to someone else it is ridiculous. I am comparing my whole self to one little piece of who they are, and most of the time I don’t even know them. The way that I snap out of this comparison barrier is to remind myself of all the things that I am grateful for in my own life. My gratitude practice has now become an integral part of my life. I intentionally practice gratitude every day and now when things get tough I lean into gratitude to feel better, to help me make a decision, and take the best actions to move forward.
2 INSPIRATIONS FROM OTHER PEOPLE
1. “Your future growth and progress are now based on your understanding of the difference between the two ways in which you can measure yourself; against an ideal, which puts you in what I call ‘the gap’, And against your starting point, which puts you in ‘the gain’, appreciating all that you've accomplished.” by Dan Sullivan.
2. “Comparison is the thief of joy.” by Theodore Roosevelt.
1 QUESTION FOR YOU
1. What are ten things that I am grateful for?
